When you visit Vet Tech Institute and tour our facilities, you will meet with an admissions representative. He or she will want to get to know you, as well as explain how our program leads to a career.
If you decide VTI is right for you, your representative will be there to guide you through the admissions and enrollment process.
Admissions Requirements
Admissions requirements vary slightly by location. When you visit you can learn more about the details.
In general, acceptance is based on scholastic records and ability. You need to have graduated from high school or the equivalent. We will look for evidence of comfort with math and science.
Applications generally are helped by further education, recommendation letters, and experience in - or exposure to - the animal care industry.

Generally, the applicant is notified of the school's acceptance decision within four to eight weeks after submission of the application.
